Leading a productive, busy life can take its toll, no matter how strong we think we are. We deal with so many responsibilities, that sometimes, whether we realize it or not, we can become quite neglectful of our own health and lifestyle. Eating food on the go like fast foods can cause some serious health issues that can significantly slow down our productivity and wellbeing in the long run. Now jumping into an organic lifestyle doesn’t have to be difficult. There are many ways we can live healthy and happy lives with just a bit of effort on our part, and still be the best #Girlbosses we are. Here are 4 key tips  to get you on the right track to living a healthy and organic lifestyle.

When it comes to changing your life, it is always better to go with small steps. Too often do we get the initial adrenaline to want to start a new diet fad or rock the minimalist lifestyle, but when we come crashing down a few days in, we end up losing the momentum. See, there are many ways you can incorporate organic living into your daily routine and have it become a habit. While what we consume is definitely one of the areas to focus on when we are going healthy, there are other factors like fitness, mental health, and environmental factors to consider as well. You may want to get on that treadmill and start burning 10 pounds immediately, but it’s important to work up conditioning, so you don’t get hurt or not be in it for the long haul. All about the baby steps.

When you go the organic, all natural route, you will find yourself being more and more creative. Take for example, the task of switching your cleaning solution to a homemade one that doesn’t contain any chemicals, which would be potentially dangerous to you and your family. Trust Google to find you a solution by giving you the perfect recipe for making an all-natural cleaning spray. We just love the Internet because it really is a fountain of knowledge. Also, we recommend scoping out your local bookstore for some amazing books and guides to help you on your health journey.

You probably want to roll your eyes on this tip, but trust us. Keep on reading. Starting up gardening can have a substantial amount of benefits on the quality of your life. First is the emotional connection a garden can have on your psyche. Think about it. You bought the seeds and flower pots, brought them home and planted them in the ground, made sure to water and nourish them, and saw them bare fruit. Talk about a sense of accomplishment. But let’s say you don’t have the time or resources to start your own, full-fledged vegetable or fruit garden, start small. Try growing your own herbs in a simple plant pot and keep it near the kitchen window.

You’ll be surprised how donning a pair of garden gloves can be a great stress-relief,

With so many new gadgets and tools on the market, leading a healthy and organic lifestyle is definitely doable. See, you’re not just creating efficiency, but also setting up the right atmosphere that will have you feeling positive and motivated to continue on this great path. So we definitely recommend investing in some effective, energy-saving kitchen appliances. One of our favorite kitchen investments we ever made was purchasing a good quality blender. There are so many things you can do with a blender from quick and easy smoothies to fresh pesto sauce and brown rice pancakes.

Another great kitchen appliance is a top quality refrigerator that can store your food a lot better and keep it fresh for longer. This is important because as you begin to opt for more organic and healthier options, you’re going to need your food to stay as fresh as possible. Keeping the refrigerator nice and organized is vital too, because most of us tend to be visual people. So seeing what we have in our refrigerator will lessen the stress levels and also encourage us to cook more.

As you can see, there are many ways to start living a healthy life and reaping all the benefits. We encourage you to try these tips and finds others to discover what works for you. Happy health!

  • Anwar

This beautiful thank you for sharing, living health live is important

  • Great list! As being a mom of five kids healty life is very important for me. I’ve already started gardening on my tiny balcony… I have so much fun.

  • Yes, baby steps… key to everything! I’m trying 😉

  • Great tips. I’m still in the researching phase because I love so many varieties of foods, and I’d love to substitute a couple for healthier options. But you’re right, it takes baby steps because you really do need to factor in different things, like your well-being.

  • Cassandra

Great tips! I agree, it’s easier to slowly ease yourself into a lifestyle change than throw yourself in.

  • I think taking baby steps is something really hard, because knowing myself I am all about (when it comes to diet) go hard or go home… That’s bad I know. All or nothing is always a bad idea. so I think my baby steps could be something like, you made a mistake, let it go and keep going. Don’t give up!

  • Loved this post .. especially because of the philosophy of taking baby steps. It’s so true .. is we make changes in this way they’re far more likely to stick in the long run!

  • Aileen

    Great post!
Agree with invest in future and gardening, even though it’s a bit hard to garden in Bali because it’s too hot……..

    • Aileen

please come by to see a little bit of Bali ^^
