Undoubtedly, the more you walk, the better it is for your body. It’s understandable that very often women don’t have the time to take long walks or to find the time to jog. But there are other moments when you can apply walking into your daily routine and feel much fitter in a short time. If your workplace is not that far from your home, don’t go there by car. Instead wake up a bit earlier and walk to your work. Power walking is a great way to charge yourself with a lot of energy and help yourself feel a lot better in the morning and thus throughout the whole day. If you work too far from home, then get off the bus a few stops earlier and walk to work, or park the car somewhere more distant.
Riding a bike to work or to run a few errands is another great way to workout. You can go to work by bike every day or ride it to meet a few friends for lunch. Take advantage of the weekends too. Taking out the bike and scenic tour around town can be a great way to keep the legs strong.
One of the main reasons why we don’t have the time to work out is the long hours at the office. But combining work and fitness is possible. We suggest taking small breaks to do some simple exercises that will give you a daily dose of workout so you’ll feel more energized throughout the day. A great tip is to keep dumbbells in the office and use them to do some exercises during your lunch break. Have a 15-minute break? Use your chair for support and do 4 to 5 sets of lunges and squats.
