On this week’s episode of Hart of Dixie, Wade and Zoe wake up in bed together. Again! Zoe insists it will never happen again. But we’ll see about that. And to make matters worse, Rose knocks at Zoe’s door just as about the time she’s making her escape. With no pants, nevertheless!
Things are not easy for Lemon. She gets yelled at by Magnolia for waitressing. Brick tells Lemon he needs a new receptionist. However, she doesn’t want to work with her dad. Elsewhere, Ruby tells Lavon she hasn’t seen him all week, and insist he stop running from her. In comes Zoe and they chat. She says she chose to be alone because she did not want to be someone’s rebound. Yet she doesn’t admit she’s sleeping with Wade.
Lemon tells the customers to take their elbows off the table. Only Lemon would be that gutsy. Unfortunately Wally wants to fire her. And he wants Wade to do it. The catch, however is Wade is afraid of her.
Despite the fact that Zoe is happy George is going fishing, he isn’t happy she wants him to date other woman. Again, Zoe tells Wade no more sex with him. She says she is trying to be the best version she’s ever been. But Wade bets her $50 dollars they’ll have sex again. Up for the challenge, she tell him to make it $100 dollars.
George goes to eat at where Lemon works, since it’s unavoidable given there’s only two restaurants in town. Wade asks George for advice on how to fire Lemon. George warns him against firing her.
Wanting to throw a concert, Rose asks Zoe for help. She wants to do a BlueBellaPalooza, and needs a rock band to play.
Lemon goes to her dad’s, but he’s busy with a patient. In the meantime, he has her picking up the phone and seeing to his calendar. He proves she would be a good receptionist. And far better than just a waitress. Lemon ends up inviting her father and Emily to the restaurant.
Wade gives dating advice to George. George is worried because it’s a small town and people talk. Plus news will travel to Lemon, who happens to work in the only bar in town.
Trying to help Rose get a band, Zoe calls her Mom but she doesn’t pick up the phone. Lavon suggests getting Lilly Anne Morgan. Apparently Wade knows her, so Zoe is forced to face Wade again. Rose quickly realizes there’s something between the two. Zoe has to drive with Wade. But as he tries to seduce her, Rose pops up and knocks on the car window. Turns out she’s going with them to Mobile.
Lemon shows up at work on her night off, where Wally fires her. However, she makes him look at her in the eye, and proceeds to tell him her dad and his girlfriend are coming soon. She even offers to pay him if he lets her stay.
George approaches a girl at the bar, but it doesn’t run smoothly. He ends up calling Wade for advice. Zoe is confused as to why George is calling him. Wade explains he’s George’s wingman. But she doesn’t think George is ready to date. Disaster strikes when Lemon accidentally mixes up Brick and Emily’s order, giving Emily the seafood Gumbo. Unfortunately Emily is allergic. They end up leaving so they can give her shot.
Lilly turns out to be a a hypochondriac with an acid reflux. She’s also on a new mood stabilizer. So things are not boding well with her and Wade. Elsewhere, George is dancing with a girl, but decides to go find out what’s wrong with Lemon. She tells him she wants to prove to her dad she can take care of herself. He wisely tells her that the part of finding out what we are good at, is figuring what we’re not. He bluntly tells her to wipe waitress right off the list. She then tells him how much she hates him for what he did to her. George wants to make it up to her, he just needs to figure out how. Seizing the moment, Lemon hands George the bucket of dishes. Ruby and Lavon talk again. He tells her he didn’t feel complete without football, until someone told him to run for major. Ruby leaves, but not before giving him a kiss.
Elsewhere, Zoe tells Wade he should apologize to Lily. Wanting to annoy Zoe, he actually apologizes. Lilly ends up agreeing to sing. She then tells him that she hates driving after a gig, so maybe she can stay with him. Wade looks at Zoe and asks her permission. Zoe says whatever and grabs him to go.
Rose is happy half her school is at the concert. Zoe sees Wade talking with Lilly and gets jealous. Lilly says her finger is numb, Zoe says it the nerves. But Lilly is worried she could have nerve damage. Lilly is paranoid, Zoe tells her that if it stays like that to go see a specialist. Wade then starts packing up because he doesn’t have a lead singer anymore since Lilly is on her way back to Mobile to see a specialist. Zoe tries to explain that she didn’t do it on purpose. But Wade won’t have any of it. So Zoe tries to fix it by asking George to sing, who happens to sound great. Soon he has all the girls in the crowd clapping.
Lavon tells Zoe that she doesn’t want Wade to have sex with anyone because deep down she likes him. She denies it of course. She tells him she only has feelings for George. But he asks her why she told George she couldn’t be with him.
Guess who is also running for mayor. Yup, Ruby. She approaches Lavon and tells him she has decided to run against him. Lavon thinks it’s a joke. But Ruby isn’t playing. She says that just like him, she’s been waiting for something to come up. Meanwhile, Zoe is stuffing her mouth with cotton candy, as Rose comes up to talk. She says she had no idea George could sing so well. Zoe didn’t know either. She then looks at George and all the women around him. She ends up telling Rose that everyone is 15 at heart. What this could mean, we don’t know. We’ll just have to wait until next episode.
