[dropcap]Y[/dropcap]ou often hear celebrities say that it takes an army to make them look so great. While they may have stylists and a glam team around them 24/7, there is still a proper beauty regimen involved as well.
However, setting up the perfect beauty routine doesn’t happen overnight. It’s a process that entails a lot of hits and misses to find out what works and doesn’t work for you. This can be overwhelming to say the least, which is why we are sharing some of our favorite beauty tips that will help you narrow the ideal beauty regimen for you.
1. Pay attention to your skin

Every skin type may have specific needs, they are some universal steps that help set us up for success, which includes a good hygiene. Start the morning with a good face cleanse. We recommending washing your face with a gentle cleanser as they’re less damaging on the skin. Once cleansed, dry the face with a paper towel by gently absorbing the excess water–making sure not to wipe.
Follow up the cleanser with a toner, serum, moisturizer and eye cream. Now don’t forget to use products with SPF protection during the day, since the sun can causes premature aging and skin cancer.
2. Don’t Sleep on makeup

First and foremost, when choosing your make-up, make sure you are paying attention to which products are suitable for your skin type, and whether or not they cover all your makeup needs. But the biggest tip we can offer, and one of the most missed steps people do is to forget to take off their makeup. Wearing foundation overnight for example, can clog the pores and create irritations to the skin. This is why taking off makeup before going to sleep is very important.
A quick and easy way to remove eye makeup is by soaking a cotton pad generously with waterproof eye makeup remover and pat your eyes with it – never rub. Works everytime. For those with dry skin, use cream or oil cleansers to remove makeup from your skin, since this will keep it hydrated and prevent irritation. But this can also work with any skin type.
3. Use hair masks

No matter if you dye your hair or not, it is still important to keep it healthy. Our hair is often exposed to high temperatures from dryers, UV radiation, and air pollutants on a daily basis. Start your hair care by choosing products that match your needs.
A great way to set your hair on the right course is by applying a great hair mask you can make at home or buy from the store. It can differ by hair length and type, but we recommend using a generous amount on your clean hair at least once a week for half an hour or more. This will nourish your hair and save you a lot of money at the hair salon in the long run.
4. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate

Water is an important part of the beauty process. A lack of water can lead to a lack of hydration which will, in turn, affect your complexion and hair. Drink 6-8 glasses of water on daily basis to rid your body of toxins that accumulate over time.
Dehydration can happen even at your home when you are too busy to remember to drink water. But if you don’t pay attention to your water intake, your skin can become more susceptible to arising skin issues such eczema, discoloration, and premature wrinkling. We recommend setting up a reminder on your phone or using a water tracker app to, use one of the apps to keep you on the right track.
5. Exercise a little every day

Staying physically active will not only keep you in shape but also improve the blood flow and create good chemicals in your body. You will smile more because you feel great and your skin and hair will receive more oxygen through the blood.
The best part is that exercise doesn’t have to a chore. The key is to choose an activity that suits you and your needs so that you easily fall into a routine of exercising every day a little or at least 3 to 4 times a week. A brisk walk in the evening or light yoga on the porch can offer benefits to the skin and overall body health.
6. Dental is important

A smile can change a person’s look in a second. However, people can often hide their smile because they don’t alway feel confident in their teeth or maintain a good teeth hygiene. But this is where good dental care products can make all the difference.
We also recommend flossing regularly, especially in the evening, and keeping regular appointments with your dentist. If you choose to undergo a teeth whitening procedure, then steer away from red wine, tobacco and other ingredients as they can stain your teeth.
