[dropcap]E[/dropcap]very skin is different and not every skincare product works the same for every single person. So setting a skincare routine can be difficult–requiring lots of hits and misses along the way until you find what works the best for you. Thankfully, there are universal beauty tips to help you get beautiful, healthy skin. And today we are sharing eight of our fabulous tips and tricks every woman needs to add to her skincare routine.
1. Self-love
It can be hard at times to get older, but learning to embrace our flaws goes a long way with boosting our self-confidence. Wrinkles can be beautiful. Rather than getting hard on yourself for a new wrinkle, use the energy to uplift and motivate yourself to self-improvement. As Brigitte Bardot said: “I am proud of my wrinkles, they are the life in my face”. So instead of wallowing because you have wrinkles or cellulite, you should go about treating yourself kindly, set up a healthy lifestyle, and implement a beauty regimen that can target those areas you’d like to change.
2. Not in Excess
A healthier lifestyle works wonders for the mind, body and soul. A great way to move towards that lifestyle is by cutting an excess of alcohol, tabacco, and even caffeine. Alcohol and nicotine can deprive the skin of moisture, which can affect elasticity and suppleness. There is also no concrete evidence to indicate that drinking multiples cups of coffee or tea substantially reduce the appearance of wrinkles. So balance is key.
3. Drink H20
Drink enough water. Easy right? You’d be surprise with how little many of us actually follow this tip. Water not only helps detox but also hydrates the body so it stays healthy. Making sure to drink the recommended allotted amount of water is so important to achieving great skin. It really is the ultimate beauty tip.
4. Vitamin Booster
Vitamins are not only important for our immune system, but also for our skin. Vitamin C in particular is known for its anti-aging effect as it helps stimulate the production of collagen and helps treat hyperpigmentation.
5. Good mood
As the saying goes, the skin is the reflection of the soul. Our mental state can therefore be reflected in the skin. Do not estimate this tip! A great mood can be the motivation we need to increase our cardio, pamper ourselves to a great facial, and even implement excellent healthy habits. Trust us, your body and skin will thank you for that great mood.
6. Improve blood circulation
The basic requirement for beautiful skin is a good circulation. You can do so by stimulating your circulation with a cleaning brush. Simply massage the skin with gentle movements. This will help you get rid of dead skin cells and serve as a great anti-aging technique.
7. Skin cleansing
One of the key steps to beautiful skin is making sure we thoroughly cleanse the skin. This is especially important in the evening before going to bed as we need to properly remove any excess makeup, environmental toxins and ready the skin for our skincare products. We recommend using a micellar water makeup remover and/or a toner after your cleanser. This will help take off any last residue that a cleanser might not have removed.
8. A Dose of Hydration
One of ways we like to pamper our skin is by using hydrating products like a rich body butter and moisturizer. The older we get, the more important it is to preserve the moisture content of our skin so that our skin stays youthful.
Remember an intensive moisturizer is not just for dry skin. Even oily skin needs moisture. When the skin is dry, it can produce more sebum than is normally needed to make up for the dryness. This can lead to clogged pores, cracked skin and blemishes. So take extra care not to dry out the skin when cleansing it. We suggest you use skincare products that do not have alcohol in it as this ingredient can further dry out the skin.

I agree with everything you posted. I am just praying that I can do everything there specially that I don’t much time for myself.

I suppose the most accessible for many people is to drink more water, which can also help a person to cope with hunger pangs. Next time you think you are hungry, it could be that you are just actually thirsty! I agree that a good mood is really important and stimulating the circulation to the skin with a cleaning brush is brilliant idea.

Wonderful tips! I get side tracked and forget important things. Like the self love and good mood parts. I have earned every mark or wrinkle I have. Another thing I have never tried to keep my skin in shape by using blood circulation, that makes so much sense because or bodies need that why wouldn’t our skin.
Great tips, it is so true that there is no point in getting down about wrinkles. I think I have some “crows feet” from laughing around my eyes maybe, but I can’t tell you for sure, because I don’t focus on it. Most people think I’m younger than I am, good genetics I think as my mom and grandma look younger than their age too.
