[E]ver desired a weekend filled with everything beauty related? Well look no further, The Beauty Social has arrived. For two days, Beautylish, an online community for beauty lovers, is hosting their first social event that will showcase celebrity makeup artists, well known brands and popular Youtube gurus.
This special event is set to take place October 22-23 at the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel in bright and sunny Santa Monica. There you’ll get the opportunity to socialize with other beauty enthusiasts and experience some great activities throughout the two days. Some of the indulgences include a foundation match from Cover FX, glam up your eyes with the help of Urban Decay experts and get a mini manicure from CND Shellac Manicures.
Another widely anticipated discussion is the ‘So You Want To Be a Guru’, which includes some very popular gurus such as Julie Gutierrez (Julieg713 on Youtube), Leesha C. (Xsparkage on Youtube) and Wendy Nguyen from Wendyslookbook.com. Each guru will reveal their tips on how to be a successful guru.
If you can’t make the first day, not to worry there’s plenty of outstanding panels such as ‘All in the Family: Annie and Maggie Ford Danielson of Benefit Cosmetics’ moderated by Beautylish’s very own Beauty Director, Ning Chao. There Brand Ambassadors for Benefit Cosmetics, Maggie and Annie Ford Danielson will share what’s it like to “grow up with beauty as the family business”, as well as reveal what what’s in store for Benefit Cosmetics.
Now if big crowds are not your style, there’s a VIP reception for those looking for a more intimate gathering. There you’ll get the chance to socialize with some of the guest speakers and beauty brands over cocktails and light hors d’oeurves.
