[dropcap]F[/dropcap]all is here, and once again the Makeup Show LA is set to start November 4 to 5th at the California Market Center in Los Angeles. The two-day pro-only event is aimed at professionals in the beauty industry. Attendees can expect to gain insightful tips from keynote forums, perfect skills in hands-on workshops and focus series, and discover a Mecca of beauty products and gadgets from a wide selection of brand booths. The best part is that once again we will be giving you an inside look at the Makeup Show LA 2017 as we offer recaps of some of the amazing lectures on offer, as well as scoping the newest launches from some of our favorite beauty brands. And what better way to lead up to the Makeup Show LA than to have James Vincent, Director of Artistry and Education, share the beauty trends to watch for Fall 2017.
Metallics
This trend is described as “unapologetic,” with mined minerals with black and smoke, tones of gold and copper that produce a sheer look with metallic that glitters on the lid like gold.

It’s always fun to see what the latest beauty trends are. I like the metallics, but I have to admit that I’d stay away from the bold colors.
I love metallics! I have always thought they bring attention to the eyes. The bold I am not so sure about but I have been trying to step out of my comfort zone a bit. I tend to stay with neutral colors but have tried a blue before and it actually looked good!
Metallic and pop of color are always my favorite style no matter what the season is. It’s fun and festive if done right.

The pops of bold color trend totally reminds me of the 80s! It makes me feel like I need to grab my blue eyeliner and blue mascara. I guess everything comes back eventually!
