Lucky FABB is an amazing two day event held annually in Los Angeles and New York City. And each year it is an event coveted by all fashion and beauty bloggers. Held at the Beverly Hills Hotel on April 4-5, the conference hosted some incredible breakout sessions, which included: Insta #IRL Beauty School, Grow Your Traffic, How to Take The Best Videos, Working With Brands, Agent 101, Next-Level Personal Style, and The New Look of Digital. In an already crowded and ever growing tech, space guest speakers like Karolina Kurkova and January Jones, shared their secrets with the audience, with the talented Nicole Richie as the guest of honor.
Sparkling cocktails and scrumptious treats were provided by Miss Me.
One of the highlights was the Style Conversation between worldly model Coco Rocha and Lucky magazine editor in chief, Eva Chen.
Beautiful Coco was so down to earth and engaging. The audience was holding its collective breath and riveted to her every word. Her entrance into the blogging sphere was purely as a hobby she said. A proclaimed social media expert, Coco thinks this format allows us to express ourselves and our passions. However, she also feels this industry is saturated too. Her answer? Take your photo, keep it genuine. Don’t fabricate a life that isn’t yours. Share meaningful thoughts. And slow down.
Today she uses her media presence for a more specific cause. She helped Model Alliance a nonprofit organization to stand up for younger models just entering the demanding biz of cat walking. “There are girls who are being sexually abused, girls who aren’t being paid,” she explains. Not only does she have personal style, she also has a heart of gold.
Overall the event was superb, and definitely an event not to miss. Can’t wait to see you all next year at Lucky FABB!
