The popular social hub for beauty experts, brands, and professionals aims to build a beauty community via this new platform. Beauty lovers from around the world can now share tutorials, inspirations, reviews and network with others. Think Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest rolled up in one convenient app. “This positive and encouraging social community is redefining the way women discover and learn about all things beauty. Bellashoot’s co-founder, Gee Collins says. “We’re building a candid and authentic platform for women to uncover and explore new products by getting feedback based on real people sharing their personal experiences.”
As beauty enthusiasts, we love joining new and upcoming communities where we can explore and share our love all things beauty. So we just had to rush to iTunes to download this new app. Here we share our experience using the Bellashoot app.

The Bellashoot app has a sleek interface that seamlessly lets its users sign up by touching the Join Now button or simply signing in via social networks (i.e Facebook, Twitter and Google+). Once we logged in, we were taken to the HOME page, where other members in the community have uploaded and shared beauty tips, reviews, etc. It has a very Pinterest setup, which we appreciate.
When something catches our eye, like the “NYFW Trends: The Bop Knot”, all we have to do is click on it and we can find out more about it. The best part is that videos are also a feature users can see and upload. In this instance, we were taken to the actual video and able to see the Bop Knot tutorial in action. When we are done, simply do is touch Done…and voila, we are back to the previous page. Now say we want to save this Bop Knot for future reference, all we have to do is touch SAVE and a box will pop up. It will prompt us to add to a collection. We can create a new one or a preset collection. Touch Done. It is now saved in our hairstyles/cuts ideas collection.
One of the best features about the app is how well organized everything is from making sure everything is labeled (i.e Beauty News, Reviews, Tips, Wishlists, etc) to creating a user-friendly experience. Users should expect to see a wide selections ranging from Product reviews, Nail Inspirations, Hairstyle Ideas, Tutorials and more. We love how easy it was to follow new bloggers/professionals, add comments, like the photos and even visit their social links. The app also allows us to tailor what we want to see on our home page, whether it’s specific hairstyles or fall trends in makeup. This truly is a mecca for the beauty lovers around the world.
Another fantastic feature the app offers is the ability to upload our own photos and video. So if have a great tutorial or blog post we have created and want to share, we just head to the ADD page. There we have the option to get the photo/video from album, camera or youtube. Once we picked our photo, we can create specific labels. The first step is to pick the section and categories (can only pick 2) our photo or video falls in.
The third step (and our favorite) is to add products we are mentioning in the photo or video. So for ours we chose to list as much of the products we used. The last step is title add a title, descritpion, and tags. Just press Save, and the post is put on a queue to go public. Within a few minutes we can access the post via our profile.

For those beauty enthusiasts like us, this free app is a must. It is so becoming our on the go beauty encyclopedia where we can grab inspiration, share content and get to network with others. Some more benefits include:

- The app has a built-in camera functionality which allows users to take selfies, product pictures, and other beauty-related photos and share it on the app.
- Easily find and follow your favorite makeup artists, bloggers and beauty professionals.
- Add and organize your favorite beauty tips, wishlists and photos you find on the app to custom collection albums you create.
