Now we are firm believers that the eyebrows frame the face. A softer brow can make the face look more youthful while a strong brow can highlight the cheekbones and add character. But brows are often overlooked, despite the fact that they can make a big difference in your makeup. Recently, we were given the opportunity to test out the Billion Dollar Brows’ Best Sellers Kit and the 60 Seconds to Beautiful Brows Kit to see how these products made our brow routine much easier. Keep reading to find out more about these two sets and what we thought of each of the products.

Before Brows
>>>The Best Seller kit
We love how this set conveniently covers everything we need to create an amazing brow, starting from the brow pencil to the brow gel. Let’s look at each of the products.
The Universal Brow Pencil
How to apply: First brush the brows with the spoolie that comes at the end of the brow pencil. Next, fill in the brow with the mechanical pencil, making sure to use small, light strokes so you create a more natural brow. However, a more dramatic brow can be recreated simply but building up the color.
Brow Duo Pencil | Concealer & Highlighter
How to apply: Once you have your brows filled in, take the highlighter end of the brow duo and line the brow bone to create a higher brow. Finally, turn the duo pencil around to the concealer end to the cover any blemishes.
The Brow Gel

How to apply: After you’re brows have been filled in, it’s time to set them by running a light coat of brow gel through the brows.
>>>The 60 Seconds to Beautiful Brows
The two piece brow set is ideal for those looking for a quick and easy way to get great brows without needing a bag full of brow products to achieve it.
The Brow Powder & Dual Ended Brow Brush
How to apply: Take the dual ended brow brush and use the spoolie to comb through your brows and shape them the way you want them to set. Next take the brush end and dip it in the taupe brow powder and start to fill in the brows in light, brush strokes. Again run the spoolie through the brows to blend and soften the brow.
[large_title title=”Our thoughts”]
The Best Seller kit is by far our favorite of the two sets. Like we have mentioned above, this set allows us to take our normal brow routine to the next level.
Brow Pencil: Unlike other brow pencils we have used in the past, the Universal Brow pencil has the right consistency between smooth and waxy which makes application easier and the product stays longer on the brows. We love that there is no need to use a sharpener to sharpen the brow pencil and we can simply twist to get more product.
Brow Duo Pencil: While we love the concept of this duo pencil, and do enjoy the highlighter for a nice lift of the brows, the concealer brush wasn’t our favorite. Even with the smudge brush, it took us a bit of time to blend the concealer into the skin. In addition, the shade of the concealer only works for lighter skin complexions, and do not account for any skin undertones. So we found ourselves reaching less and less for the concealer.
Smudge Brush: We usually don’t like to use the brushes included in kits because we find them to often be of lower quality. But we were impressed with the quality and performance of the smudge brush included in the Best Sellers Kit. It has the right lean shape and stiffness (without feeling scratchy on the skin) to blend the Brow Duo Pencil with ease. Definitely a nice high quality addition, you don’t normally see in similar kits.
Brow Gel: This is the second product in the kit we loved using the most. Unlike other brow gels, the formula on this one is easy to use and leaves the shape of our brows without making them appear stiff and unnatural. In terms of staying power and environments like hot weather and wind, the brow gel proved to keep the color and shape of our brows in place.
Finally, we have the 60 Seconds to Beautiful Brows. While we did prefer the Best Sellers Kit, this kit is definitely a good brow starter kit for anyone looking to perfect their brows.
The taupe brow powder included in the kit is a nice, universally flattering color for light to darker hair colors as the color is easy to build up depending on how soft or dramatic we want our brows. However, do be advised that it does take time to build up the color, especially if you’re looking to fill in the bald spots in your brows. For those wanting a dramatic brow will prefer the mechanical brow pencil in the Best Sellers Kit as the brow powder is more geared to those wanting a softer, natural brows.
After Brows
Again, we like that Billion Dollar Brows has included a quality dual ended brush with their brow powder. It can often be difficult to fill the brows without the right brow brush. Some can be too firm, while others too soft to create any definition. The dual ended brush had the perfect balance between firm and soft, which made the application so much easier to apply the brow powder without getting fallout from the shadow. We do suggest setting the brows with a brow gels as this will help strengthen the performance.
