Did someone say gluten free skincare? If the answer is yes, then I’m all in. As a health conscious foodie, it’s has become easier to find gluten free food. However, tracking down gluten free skincare products for my ultra sensitive skin has been a completely differstent story. When I learned about Schaf Skincare, I was thrilled. I knew I had to try this product as soon as possible because as the health conscious driven consumer I am, I was on a quest to–as the brand’s catch slogan says, practice safe skincare.
About the brand
Award-winning photographer Peter Schafrick, founder of Schaf Skincare, created the gender neutral brand out of his frustration with the toxic ingredients found in most skincare products, as well as the lack of results seen from using all-natural products. Schaf’s philosophy is a simple less-is-more approach with a desire to bring skincare products that are clean, natural and effective.
Inside the Products
Now the two innovative products I tried were the Moisturizer and the Eye Cream & Night Cream.
The moisturizer has a lightweight, oil-free formula but packs a generous boost of hydration with ingredients like shea butter, grapeseed oil and avocado oil. How to Use: Apply to clean skin, making sure to massage the product all over the face and neck.

Last but not least is the Eye Cream & Night cream. This anti-aging skincare product doubles as an eye cream and a full-face night cream. It has been formulated with an olive-derived squalane oil that helps to boost skin regeneration, improve texture and promote skin elasticity. How to Use: Apply a small amount over your eye area any time of day or simply apply the product all over the face before bed.

My Thoughts
After two weeks, I can say that I am amazed at the benefits these two products had on my overall skincare. My skin has been loving the added boost of hydration this winter season. Another reason why I can’t get enought of the two Schaf skincare products was how silky and smooth they felt on the skin.
This is an absolute must when I have to use anything on my face. Since using the moisturizer and eye cream & Night cream, my skin has felt and looked nurtured and well cared for. Very simply put, these products work because they are don’t have the toxins or the unnecessary ingredients you can often find in the beauty market these days. And that’s an all around win for me.
So I definitely recommend checking Schaf Skincare for those like me who deal with ultra-sensitive skin or are looking for more clean beauty options. You won’t be disappointed.

I love the Simplicity of these, both in concept and InDesign. It’s like minimalist design, but for your face. I feel like I’m not getting anything hazardous in the package.

I have very sensitive skin so it is nice to know that there are limited amounts of toxins. I am willing to try this out but I am allergic to aloe ugh

While I don’t use any beauty products (too many harmful chemicals), these do look delightful. I have really sensitive skin, so being fragrance free is a must which these products are. I also like how you showed the texture of the creams at the bottom (I’ve never seen that done before in a post!). The product itself looks very creamy!
