We have been getting more into yoga and Pilates recently, so we were thrilled to see the eQua® Mat Towel in our box. One of the things we worry about during our yoga sessions is having a steady foundation. Now with this mat towel, we have a perfect companion to cover our yoga mats. In fact, during one of our at-home yoga sessions, we couldn’t believe how better we could shift to the different positions than before. The Mat Towel is lightweight and easy to pack in a gym bag or rolled up with your yoga mat.

As avid tea drinkers, we enjoy a good cup of tea. So it’s no surprise that the moment we spotted the Dean & Deluca loose tea, we started up our electric kettle and set on sampling the peppermint tea. And what a delightful cup it was. For those tea drinkers who haven’t dabbled in loose teas before, we suggest you get on it because there is just so much more potency you get from loose leaves than you would get in a standard tea bag. We like to end our night with a cup of chamomile or this delicious peppermint tea to relax. You only need a tablespoon of the loose leaf and 4-5 minutes to steep the tea, and you’re good to go. We don’t see ourselves running out anytime soon, but when we do, we will definitely be picking up some more.

Keeping our skin looking fresh and revitalized is a priority when it comes to our skincare, so a good exfoliator or peel is a must. We have never heard of Dr. Goldfaden’s Fresh A Peel Multi Acid Resurfacing Peel before, but we loved that the product contains multi-fruit enzyme and is paraben-free. To use the peel, we simply dispensed a small amount of the product on our fingertips and smooth it over our entire face. We then left it on for the recommended time and then washed our face. Our skin felt comfortable wearing the product, which isn’t always the case with resurfacing peels as they can be quite harsh on the skin. Not the case with this one. Besides a light red tinge (lasted no more than a minute), our skin felt smooth and supple. So far we love the way our skin is responding to this peel, but it’s too soon to see it does in fact help reduce the appearance of fine lines in the long run.

Now call us crazy, but we have always wanted a hair turban. So you know we were all kinds of excited to see the Daily Concepts hair towel wrap in the box. Another reason we have always wanted one of these is also because it can help reduce frizz, shorten our drying-time and just overall keep our wet hair from our face. The soft microfibers make it incredibly easy to wear and with the built-in button at the back, it’s easy to secure. The only drawback is that it can be tricky to put on at first. We had to go to the daily concepts website ( the full instructions/demo here ) to see how to put on the hair towel wrap. But after the initial struggle we had no problems afterwards.

Now we love a good candle, especially during the winter season when all we want to do is curl up in the sofa with a good book and some hot coco. Or if you’re like us, picturing ourselves lying on a sandy beach in Hawaii. With the new Glade Atmosphere Collection candle in our box, we were able to recreate that wonderful tropical beach aroma at home. Now finding the right blend of coconuts and woods can be tricky. But this soy candle from Glade happens to magically mesh the sweetness of the coconuts with that slight woodsy scent into a deliciously light, fresh aroma for the household. Trust us, this signature gives out that tropical paradise vibe big time!

One of our favorite products we got in our box was the beautifully crafted desk calendar from May Designs. We love collecting unique and creative decors for our desk so we knew this hand-painted desk calendar would be a perfect addition. They’re so beautiful that it’s almost a shame to use it as  a calendar and not like some art piece. One of the best parts however, is that once the month is up and we’re ready to move on to the next month and a new card, we can simply cut the card on the dotted line and it serves as a notecard. Isn’t that genius?

Leave it to PopSugar to include a fun, quirky addition to their box. We adore a good quote/positive thinking book so this Happy Notes from SourceBooks, Inc is right up our alley. Already we’ve had so much fun tearing off the sticky notes and leaving it on several coworkers’ desks for that much needed pick-me-upper. The world can be a gloomy place sometimes, so we can definitely use a little positive cheer when we can.
