STEP 1:
Apply your favorite base coat to all your nails. Now starting with the thumb and middle finger, apply a coat of orange nail polish. Side note: how many coats will depend on the polish you’re using.
Step 2:
Next take a black nail striper and paint two triangles for the eyes, a small dot for the nose and a curved line for the mouth to create a jack-o-lantern pumpkin. Dip a small dotting tool in the same orange color, and two dots for eyes, and a couple dots on the mouth to give it that jack o lantern look.
Step 3:
Time to move painted both the index and pinky with a nude polish. Then taking the same orange polish I used for the pumpkins I painted a french tip and then took a black striper and painted a very thin black line.
Step 4:
It’s time to move on to the ring finger. Apply two coats of Gray nail polish or your preferred color on the nail as a base.
Step 5:
Now take a pink nail polish and create a strip along the bottom of the nail. Do the same with the purple and orange nail polish. Just make sure to make the strips in various lengths to add a little dimension. Finally use a silver nail striper (can also use a gold or glitter polish) to add a few stripes in between the pink, purple and orange stripes.
Step 6:
Once your design is complete, apply your favorite top coat. And voila, you have a simple but pretty manicure for Halloween.
