But we can’t forget about the amazing fashion on the red carpet.Trends spotted on the red carpet ranged from bold red dresses and pearl embellishments to sleek white gowns and hints of nude. It was a tough decision, but we’ve narrowed down our top 9 best dressed ladies at the Oscars.
1. ROSAMUND PIKE
Rosamund Pike brought sexy and chic to the red carpet with her custom lace body-con gown from Givenchy. The bold leg split, matching satin sandals, and scallop detailing on the bodice and throughout the gown, added an ultra alluring appeal.

2. EMMA STONE
Wearing a yellow-gold Elie Saab number, the Birdman actress completely wowed us. With its tiny shimmering embellishments and hint of a leg slit, the gown worked beautifully with Emma’s complexion and red hair.

3. LUPITA NYONG’O
Lupita wowed us with her floor-length Prada gown last year, but our jaws dropped when we spotted her on the red carpet in a gorgeous Calvin Klein gown. If the color wasn’t stunning enough, the 6,000 pearls sewed into the gown left us breathless.
