POPSUGAR Must Have Box August 2017 Review + Code

[dropcap]W[/dropcap]e may be coming close to the end of Summer, but that doesn’t mean we don’t plan to end it with gusto. And what better way to celebrate one of our favorite seasons than with one of our equally favorite monthly subscription boxes. We once again had a chance to try the August Popsugar Must Have Box, which marks PopSugar Founder Lisa Sugar’s 5th year anniversary curating these amazing boxes along with her team of editors.  As avid fans of the subscription service, we we thrilled to see what this special birthday celebration box would hold. 

One of our favorite items we spotted in our box was the  “Cheers” Lacquer Tray from Pastel. We have been using it as a lovely place setting for ice tea infusions we’ve been serving all week. But the tray can be used in a variety of ways from jewelry tray to tabletop photography and more.

We love jotting down our ideas so we were excited to pen inside our new rose gold notebook, sponsored by Jeep and their #BreakTheDawn campaign, which is all about waking up and getting active. The journal has the perfect weight and size to fit in a mid to large bag, but not be too small to write down all our adventures. Plus, we love the words “Free Spirit” decked out on the front cover.

One of the brands we’ve been wanting to try is First Aid Beauty. After hearing great things about the brand on social media and blogs, we’ve been wanting to try a few of their products. So needless to say, the 5 in 1 Bouncy Mask couldn’t have come at a better time.

Designed to add nourishment, elasticity and firmer appearance to the skin, the lightly scented mask doesn’t leave the skin feeling heavy or weighed down by too much product. In fact, it’s so lightweight, the mask quickly sinks into the skin. For those who like a fresh scent will appreciate how refreshing this product feels and smells. With hints of cucumber. Best part is that it’s safe for sensitive skin. Double win!

The dogeared “friendship” bracelet was by far one of our favorite additions to this month’s Must Have box. Its simple but delicate heart bracelet is a beautiful way to celebrate friendship and the company’s 5th year anniversary.

We love to stack this friendship bracelet with our watch for a bit more pizzazz. Plus we love that dogeared is funded and run by women. Talk about women empowerment.

No birthday celebration would be complete without some birthday candles from Meri Meri. These gorgeous, gold glitter candles are a lovely way to glam up any birthday cake (or cupcake). Also, the included spikes make it easy to place each candles upright without worrying the candles will tip over or worse, mar the cake design. We can’t wait to use these beauties for an upcoming birthday celebration or special occasion.

It doesn’t feel quite like a Popsugar Must Have Box without some decadent treat to sink into. We weren’t disappointed. The chocolate chunk cookies from Goodie Girl Cookies were a sweet treat to bite into with just the right amount of chocolate and crunch. We honestly devoured these bite-sized cookies in one go. For those looking for a yummy gluten free, peanut free alternative, definitely check out these tasty chocolate chunk cookies. You’re going to want more than one.

Last but certainly not least is the special extra included in this month’s Must Have Box, which features a $25 gift card to shoptiques.com. We have never heard of this site before, but after browsing the many boutiques curated from across the globe, we couldn’t get enough.
