There’s always new and upcoming products, brands and gadgets in the beauty industry that grab our attention. So we thought, why not showcase a few every month to keep you guys on the know of any fun and interesting finds. Let’s begin:

ARDENCY INN

A weeks ago, we got a press release for ARDENCY INN‘s new spring 2014 campaign, “Americana”. The campaign launches the Americana product collection, and features indie pop singer Seasick Mama on the forefront. Influenced by the multicultural demographics of downtown New York, the collection is composed of a primer, lip color pencils and a custom coverage concentrate.

On Our Radar: The Americana Custom Coverage Concentrate. It is said to be:

A revolutionary pigment concentrate that ads natural flesh tone to any moisturizer, turning into a custom tinted moisturizer, liquid foundation or concealer.

Anything that is not only customizable but versatile is right up our alley.

NYX

Recently, NYX came out with a few new products, which we spotted at IMATS LA this year. And as fans of the brand, we definitely have a few of them we want to check out.

On Our Radar: The Butter Lipsticks and Mineral Stick Foundation. The butter lipsticks are suppose to have a soft, pliable feel to the lips while giving a lightweight coverage and a satin finish. These remind us of the Revlon Lip Butters we love. Now one of favorite foundations is the Bobbi Brown foundation stick. It is perfect for us dry skin gals. However, it is a bit steep. So the NYX mineral foundation is one we want to check out and compare. According to reviews, the stick is buildable, and with a creamy texture that makes blending easy.

TRESemmé

We recently got a press release for several upcoming hair care collections from TRESemmé and we we’re definitely intrigued by a few of them.

On Our Radar: The first is the TRESemmé 7 Day Keratin Smooth Collection, which features a shampoo, conditioner and a heat activated treatment. According to the company, this collection is:

the brand’s first heat-activated smoothing treatment that works with the heat of your flat iron to transform unruly hair and lock in your style between washes. Reap the benefits, which include post-wash durability, smoothness, humidity resistance and convenient re-styling between washes.

We have dry, frizzy hair so a treatment that can help combat those hair blues is A+ on our books.

The next product we have our list to check out TRESemmé Fresh Start Renewing Dry Shampoo. It’s the latest addition to their original dry shampoo line. It’s said to refresh the hair and leave it more manageable, vibrant and with body.

Sigma Beauty

We have several Sigma Beauty brush sets and their Paris palette in our in our makeup collection, so when we heard of their upcoming “Born to Be Collection”, we were intrigued. It has an edgier look then many of their other collections as it has a sultry, smokey eye theme in mind. The collection features an eyeshadow palette, three lip gloss shades, three eyeliners, one powder blush and a lip concealer.

On Our Radar: The Eyeliner pencils, Lip Concealer and the Eyeshadow Palette.

We’ve heard good things about the eyeliner pencils (no dreaded pulling and workable for the waterline) from Sigma that we definitely have those on our list of products to check out. The Lip concealer is a new concept, especially since it’s said to not be drying on the lips. Worth a look, especially since we love playing with different OCC Lip Tars. After seeing a few Youtube Sneak Peeks of the eyeshadow palette, we fell in love with a few of the unique shades.

Tarte Cosmetics

One of our favorite cruelty-free, Vegan brands, we alway try to stay on the know of any up and coming products from Tarte. Luckily for us they released a few products in their ‘To Brighter Days” collection, which includes an all matte eye & cheek palette.

On Our Radar: The be MATTEnificent colored clay eye & cheek palette

Now we love our naked palettes, but having an all matte palette is a must. The eye and cheek palette features 8 new limited-edition eyeshadows and one blush. It is said to aid in oil control while offering better application and longer wear.

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics

In our recent trip to IMATS LA, we spotted the brand’s newest launch, their Cosmetic Colour Pencils that range from neutrals to vivids. These pencils are said to be:

a direct response to an overwhelming demand for a complimentary product to accent the look and wear of Lip Tar.

On Our Radar: The ‘Anti-Feathered’ eyeliner. This clear primer pencil is one we definitely need in our makeup collection especially since we sport bold lip tar colors on a weekly basis. Plus it’s easy to travel with.

OFRA Cosmetics:

After trying out their liquid lipstick in our Vegan Cut beauty box, we were wanted to find out more about the brand. While surfing their site, we noticed their new collection, the Peptide Complex Series. It boast 6 beauty products ranging from a cleanser, moisturizer to a serum and whitening mask. According to the site, these products are:
