Recently, Modern Chic Magazine got the opportunity to be a part of ShopStyle‘s new campaign, We Search. We Find. We Shopstyle! The colorful, fashion forward campaign announces a whole new look and feel for ShopStyle. Given a white backdrop and a We ShopStyle tshirt as our canvas, we laid out a style lookbook inspired by the upcoming holidays.

Behind the Look

With the holidays right around the corner, we thought why not use a holiday theme when creating our creative inspiration. Our focus was to use the We ShopStyle Tshirt as the centerpiece, and then create two complete outfits with interchangeable accessories, bags, and beauty products that women could potentially wear for a little bit of Christmas shopping, a mixer or a semi-casual Christmas party.

• Outfit 1: For the main outfit we have the We ShopStyle tshirt paired with a vibrant ruby red floral skirt and a vintage Navy & Gold plaid scarf (given as a Christmas year). We also added Navy ankle boots from Naturalizer,  A Vieta Pilar top handle satchel and an Elie Tahari patent leather wallet.
• Outfit 2: Again we took the We ShopStyle tshirt and styled it with a beige blazer, a pair of white denim jeans, Steve Madden quilt bag, and gold Enzo Angolini strap heels. In laying out these two holiday styles, we tried to go from head to toe. We took pieces from our closet to include beauty products, bags, shoes and more.  Ultimately, we wanted to give a glimpse of what a woman’s everyday routine could be during the holiday. Lastly, we chose touches of old and new, patterns and textures to really play on the season. But more importantly, we chose particular items that could be easily mixed or matched with the two outfits to fit our style needs.
