Recipe for our Brownie Mix

• 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
• 3/4 cup white sugar
• 3-4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
• ¼ teaspoon baking powder
• ¼ cup of chocolate chips
• pinch of salt
• ¼ cup of walnuts (optional)

Directions: Add each ingredient to a mason jar, making sure to firmly press down after each layer.

Include the following baking instructions: Pour the brownie mix into a large bowl and mix with a wooden spoon. Add 3/4 cup of butter or margarine and 2 eggs. Mix until well blended. Pour the batter into a lightly greased 9 x 13 inch pan, making sure to spread the batter evenly. Bake the brownies at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until done. Take them off the oven and let cool completely. Enjoy!

DIY Aloe Vera & Witch Hazel Toner

• 1 small glass bottle with pump or easy to open lid
• 1 fresh Aloe Vera stem or aloe vera juice
• ¼ cup of distilled water
• 5 to 6 tablespoons of Witch hazel
• 2 drops of Argan Oil

Directions:

To Make Aloe Vera Juice: In a small pan, bring the distilled water to a boil and then add the aloe vera steam. Lower the heat and allow the aloe vera to simmer for 3 to 4 minutes. The water will turn a golden color. Take off the stove and let it cool completely.

Fill your glass bottle with equal parts witch hazel and the aloe vera juice you made earlier. Add two drops of Argan Oil. Close the lid and shake thoroughly.

Include the following instructions: After cleansing the face, use 1 to 2 pumps of this toner on a pad and apply all over the face and neck for a calming, refreshing glow.

Peppermint Sugar Lip Scrub

• 4 to 6 tablespoons of Sugar
• 1 to 2 tablespoons of Honey
• 1 teaspoon of Vaseline
• 1 drop of Peppermint oil
• 1 small container with lid

Directions: In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients together until you create a sugary paste. Once you’ve created the consistency you want, pour the sugar scrub in a small container and seal it.

Include the following instructions: Scoop up a small dollop of the sugar scrub with your finger and apply it to the lips. Gently exfoliate the lips, moving in slow circular motions. You should feel a tingly sensation from the peppermint, which will create a plumping effect on the lips. And finally, wash off the sugar scrub from the lips. Apply a lip balm afterwards.

Aloe Vera & Lemon Body Scrub

• 3 to 4 tablespoons of Aloe Vera juice
• 1/4 cup of Olive Oil or Coconut Oil
• 2/3 cups of coarse or semi-coarse Salt
• 1 tablespoon of Lemon juice
• 1 glass container

Directions: In your glass container, pour in all the ingredients and slowly mix everything together until well blended.

Include the following instructions: Scoop out a generous amount on this refreshing body scrub on the tips of fingers and apply to arms and legs. Move in circular motions to remove any unwanted dry skin. Wash the scrub off with warm water.

Lemon & Lavender scented Bath Salts

• 2/3 cups of Epsom Salt
• 1 to 2 tablespoons of Grated Lemon peel
• 1 to 2 drops of Lavender
• 1 large container with lid

Directions: Pour all ingredients in your large container and mix until everything is combined.

Include the following instructions: Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of the Lemon & Lavendar scented Bath Salts to your bath for a fresh, calming bath.
