- Indie Lee Hydrating Body Balm
- Indie Lee Calendula Eye Balm
- Embryolisse ‘Lait Creme Concentre
- Trader Joe’s Antioxidant Facial Serum
- Peter Thomas Roth Max Sheer All Day Moisture Defense Lotion
Since winter, we have been gradually nursing our skin back to a healthy state by focusing on products that boost hydration. This month we two moisturizers were the star of the show: Indie Lee Hydrating Body Balm & Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre. These two products work really well in hydrating and fortifying the skin. A new discovery while browsing Trader Joes was their facial serum. Incredibly affordable, the serum impressed us with how well our skin responds to this product. Next is the Indie Lee Eye Balm, a product we’ve been using for years now. And it’s still as effective as ever. Tip: Let the eye balm soak into skin completely. Finally is sunscreen. Another discovered product was the Peter Thomas Roth Sheer All Day Moisture Defense Lotion. While it does have that standard sunscreen scent, we like how quickly it absorbed into the skin without leaving the dreaded white residue.

- Nourish Organics Moisturizing Cream Face Cleanser
- Cailyn Dizzolv’It Makeup Melt Cleansing Balm
- Peter Thomas Roth Firmx Peeling Gel Exfoliant
- Nuxe Masque Creme Fraiche de Baute 24hr Soothing and Rehydrating Fresh Mask
- Mario Badescu Facial Spray With Aloe, Herb and Rosewater
May was definitely the month of pampering the skin. We have been faithfully using the Nourish Organics face cleanser for months now and we’re still hooked. Its creamy texture is perfect for those of us with combination to dry skin as it leaves the skin hydrated. Since learning about the ill effects of using harsh exfoliators we’ve decided to try gel exfoliants. The one we picked was the Peter Thomas Roth one. And we’ve been loving it since. All it takes is to massage a dollop or two of the product in circular motions on the face, and dead skin comes off just like that. When we want a nice, hydrating mask we’ve been opting for the Nuxe 24hr Soothing and Rehydrating Fresh Mask as you can leave it on the skin without needing to wash it off, and the next day our skin feels great. Now when our skin is acting up, we like spritzing it with the Facial spray from Mario Badescu as this works magic on treating any skin irritations. Finally is a recent discovery we were recommended at The Makeup Show LA: The Cailyn Dizzolv’It Makeup Melt Cleansing Balm. This makeup remover is so fantastic, we just cant stop talking about it. It quickly breaks down any and all makeup with such an ease.

- Eve Pearl Concealer Trio A
- Bobby Brown Corrector “Beige”
- Benefit Porefessional Primer
- Michael Marcus Prime “2”
As much as we wanted to find a new foundation, we still couldn’t resist reaching out for our Oxygen Wow foundation from Benefit. It’s the perfect medium coverage that feels light on the skin. We recently picked up the Eve Pearl Concealer Trio and have been loving the coverage, texture and performance. To cover up those nasty dark spots, we’ve been rediscovering our love for Bobby Brown’s corrector in Beige. The perfect salmony tone corrector to counterattack the dark under eye circles. This month we interchanged between the Benefit Porefessional primer and a new product, the Michael Marcus Prime. Both fantastic products for helping create the perfect clean canvas for our makeup.

- L’Oreal Miss Manga Mascara “Extra Black”
- Maybelline The Colossal Volum Express “Waterproof”
- Besame Cosmetics Mascara Creme
- MakeupGeek Gel Liner in “Immortal”
- Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Liner in “Zero”
Mascara, mascara, mascara! As we are always on the hunt for a new mascara, we couldn’t resist including three of our favorite ones this month. The first is the Miss Manga mascara from L’Oreal. Initially skeptical, we soon fell in love with how “manga” like our lashes looked after two coats. The second new mascara is the Besame Cosmetics Mascara creme. First of, we adore the packaging! Secondly, the uniqueness of the product is one we haven’t really found elsewhere before. It can be a little tricky at first to use, but once you get the hang of it, it’s incredible! Our lashes have been soaking the extra attention. Last mascara is our trusty Colossal Volum express mascara (waterproof formula) for everyday use. Our two favorite liners this month is the MakeupGeek Gel liner in Immortal and the Urban Decay Glide-on Liner in Zero. You just can’t beat the creaminess and staying power of both these liners.

Like any blush fanatic, picking one blush is near to impossible. Our favorites include the Makeup For Ever HD creme blush, Laura Geller Blush-N-Brighten Baked Blush and the Bellapierre Mineral Blush. All different in texture, but with a similar pink-peachy undertone that we have loved wearing this spring.

For those days we don’t want to fuss with our lips, we opt for the Lancome Lip Lover as it glosses the lips with a tint of color.
