As big fans of the morrocan/argan oil trend, we we’re excited to try NuMe‘s Argan Oil. But once we got down to using the product, we we’re  a little less thrilled with the product. While the product came with a handy dropper to apply the oil, the consistency of the actual product was not what we expected. Like most oils, we expected the argan oil to apply smoothly. Instead, we found ourselves applying several drops of this stuff to really work it in our hair since the product seemed to sink in almost instantly. We did also notice some oil buildup as the hours went by. So we recommend only using this once a week so to avoid the hair looking greasy.

 

By far one of our favorite products we received in our November box was the Gonmage Sensoriel scrub from Lierac. The scrub contains  white flower extracts and botanical oils, which aid in smoothing, toning and invigorating our skin.  Once in contact with damp skin, the product turns a light milky consistency. The sugar crystals can be a little harsh for those with sensitive skin, so definitely test out the scrub on a small area to see how the skin reacts. Now for those who don’t mind the coarse texture will really love how lovely this product works to removing the dead skin with the sugar crystals. All while leaving the skin nourished and velvety smooth.

 

 

 

Last but certainly not least is the solid perfume stick from Perfumies. We received the scent, Forever Young, which according to Perfumies has:

‘notes of poppy, green accord, pink mimosa, pepper, creamy white woodsand musk blend together to form a clean, slightly sweet, innocent scent for the girl who will always remain young at heart.’

There are three things we enjoyed about the product. The first is how convenient the perfume stick is to travel. There’s no need to carry our perfume bottles or rollerballs, and run the risk of breaking them. Next, the perfume wears really well. All we need is a little dab of the perfume on your wrist or neck and off we go! Surprisingly, the scent is not overpowering considering it’s a solid stick. But it does last longer than a body spray. We loved knowning the product is all natural with no parabens or preservatives, and cruelty free. So not only does the perfume stick smell lovely, but is also safe to use.

While the November box was more targeted towards skincare and less makeup, we appreciate that the box was filled with products which would help prepare our skin  for the holiday festivities up ahead. Plus it was a treat to sample new brands we’d never heard of before. But what we most appreciate about Glossybox is their continuous care to detail from their packaging to their deluxe and full size products. Now for some, November’s box might not check many of their boxes, especially if they’re not into skincare or fragrance. But for those looking to get a well-rounded selection of new products, the box was ideal.
