We recently got the chance to be a part of the Veo Mobile App Campaign to test out the new Veo app powered by Latinum, a company dedicated to helping brands success in the multicultural economy. This brand new bilingual mobile app, designed with Latinos in mind, let’s consumers discover cositas bonitas (the good things), experience more trusted brands, and save money. Here’s a look inside the Veo App, along with a fun giveaway at the end!
At First Glance
Once we downloaded the Veo App, we we’re welcomed with a short tutorial highlighting some of the key features. We we’re able to then build a profile or sign in with our Facebook account. We opted for the Facebook route.
Navigating the app was simple and very user-friendly. We have the option to click a tab (located in the top left hand corner) and go through the various options like featured product deals, free samples and trials for today’s top brands. So not only do we get to learn more about the brands behind some of the most well known consumer products, we also get some great deals.
Our Thoughts
One of our favorite features of the app is the TRIAL section. Here we get the chance to opt in on various brand promotions to try out a product or two. One of the trials happening right now is to try out a deluxe sample of the Tresemme Split Remedy System.
Initially expecting the offers to have a lengthy list of requirements, we were pleasantly surprised on how easy it was to simply click ‘I Want it!”, enter our information, and voila…our confirmation. Simple!
With our hectic schedules, it’s nice to have an app that is organized, easy to access and not require us to jump several hoops to obtain the end goal. And like any good app there’s a built in share button–making it easy to share a deal, trial or information to other people.
The downside of the app is the absence of a forum or comment section on this app where people accessing the app can also connect with each other. We understand that the app is mainly designed to bridge the brands with the consumers, but in a marketing standpoint, a commentary-driven section would not only enhance the “community” feel of the app, but also offer the direct feedback companies are looking for. We hope a similar feature gets added on the next update, but so far we have to say the Veo app is really a fun–albeit informative–app we can see ourselves using on a day to day, whether it’s tapping into those great deals or finding out more on the brands themselves.
We recommend trying out the Veo app and checking out all the fun features. To download, go here:
