Cyber Monday has officially started, and we could not be more ecstatic. While there were plenty of Black Friday deals (we’ll be sharing our haul soon), Cyber Monday is hands down that one day of the year where we definitely let our inner Shopaholic come out in full force. How can we resist those amazing deals we are sure to find at some of our favorite retailers? Now it can be hard to navigate through the plethora of Cyber Monday deals floating around, which is why we’ve compiled a list of some the must have deals worth checking out this Cyber Monday, along with a few buyers tips to make your Cyber Monday experience run smoothly. Tip#1: Make a List
This seems so common sense, but you’d be surprised with how often we can forget to write up our holiday list every year. However, when we get in the habit of writing one, it can make holiday shopping that much more manageable. We recommend writing down a list of people you need to buy, making sure to leave a few lines between each name for gift ideas/notes about the person so you can tailor the gifts accordingly. Grabbing a good deal on Black Friday and Cyber Monday requires some research in advance so the last thing you want is to miss anyone because you didn’t have a list on hand to check off. Trust us, write up your list. Thank us later.
Tip #2: Double Check a Deal
Don’t get sucked into the trap of falling for every Cyber Monday deal from the get go. The beauty of the Internet is that you have the leeway to compare prices on items you’re looking to buy across the different retailers carrying said product. Often times you can find an item cheaper on another retailer, which may even have a nifty coupon code to add to the savings. Please make sure the cheaper price is from a reputable and well reviewed site. Also, make sure to make the calculations and see whether you’re actually getting a great discount on the product. We can often get lured by how an item is shown on the site that we forget to read the details. The rule of thumb of a good Cyber Monday deal is that an item should at least have a 20 to 50% percent discount.
Tip #3: Don’t Forget Cashback
Of all the tips, this one is definitely one of those widely known, but still unused shopping tools many often forget to use. In fact, you should always use Cashback on all your online shopping, but especially on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. You can usually get double the cashback on these two days. Great tips. I would add to try tracking the products for 2 or 3 moths prior the sale to see if it’s a real sale or not. In my country they tend to get the prices up before the sales and you end up buying at the same price .
