Now she just has to prove Robert didn’t go on the wrong line intentionally in time for his wedding. Not an easy feat since the judge’s busy schedule will force them to wait two weeks. Luis comes to the rescue by switching his case. He then asks Jane to have dinner, so she goes on the date. He is very upfront and kisses her, but she doesn’t feel anything at all. Jane gets upset and leaves. Luis then takes over Jane’s case, insisting that the law is an immigration hunt that should be appealed in Federal law. Jane gets furious, and tells him to sit down. She decides to request a recess, where she tells Luis off.
Teri brings Jane footage of Robert, drunk and throwing up. But the Aha moment comes when the footage shows him being guided to the U.S. Citizen line by a Mexican officer. Jane uses the clip in court, proving her client’s innocence.
Adding a little side humor to the episode is Stacy, as she drives Owen crazy. She interrupts him several times in order to bring items to help his sperm count. You’d think Owen just give up, but surprisingly he donates his sperm when Stacy finally starts ovulating.
At the hospital, Kim gives birth to a baby boy. She’s so emotional when Jane visits her. It’s also funny how everyone, including Grayson brings Kim the same teddy bear from the hospital’s gift shop. She even mentions that there must have been a sale going on.
Here comes a shocker. We find out the man who was investigating the firm for malpractice insurance, was actually making sure the firm was suitable for a sale. Turns out, Parker wants to sell the firm to the highest bidder. Wow!
Once again Jane and Grayson miss their opportunity to be together. Talk about disappointing! We see our diva catch Grayson kissing the assistant right as she was planning to confess her feelings for him. Guess we’ll have to wait until October to find out what happens next on Drop Dead Diva Season 5.
